A Floating City from Scratch

There should be multiple territories for each race. Elves from two different regions may be at war with each other. Just like the difference between Europeans, Asians, Africans. The world is a big place, and stories seem to be set in only a small part of a particular continent. PS: Please stop calling them high elves and wood elves, please give them their correct names. At least associate them with their country rather than their race. China does not represent all of Asia or all of humanity. No specific country should represent all specific races. Simply calling them wood elves or high elves is like calling black people niggas or Asians yellow-skinned monkeys.

I think this book is good. It can be seen that the author worked hard to write and construct the setting. But... There is something missing, some... Spirituality, and the characters in the author's works are like actors. Readers sit in the audience and watch them perform. Perhaps the feeling of running in a troupe had too much influence on the author. After all, running in a troupe is actually about shaping the characters and then bringing them into the performance. Details, adding some action details may be able to remove the showmanship.

In fact, I wish the author had depicted the Empire in a more sci-fi style. A civilization that is capable of interstellar travel will never be a low-level civilization. At least their scientific achievements should be comparable to Earth's. Even if they could use magic, nothing would stop them from pursuing normal science. In fact, science will advance regardless of the type of world they inhabit. Science is part of human nature, even if it is an arcane civilization, as long as they reach a certain level of education, they will develop science.
