Cultivation’s Taobao Tycoon

The path of cultivation rests on four essentials: wealth, companions, methods, and a place to practice. Wealth always comes first. Wealth means heavenly treasures, miracle elixirs, magical artifacts, secret manuals, and all the other resources that can aid cultivation. Without wealth, there can be no cultivation! In their quest for the Great Dao, the ancient cultivators plundered every cultivation resource in the world, exhausting them completely. As a result, cultivation, once a profession with a bright future, soon fell into decline. And so the Age of Dharma Decline began! In this hopeless age, modern cultivators, barely clinging to life as they pursue immortality, can only search through the discarded junk of ancient cultivators. They rummage and scavenge, scavenging and rummaging, recovering whatever meager resources can still be put to use from the trash heaps. And so a new profession was born in the modern cultivation world: treasure hunting! “Without wealth, there can be no cultivation” became “Without treasure hunting, there can be no cultivation!”
