Honghuang: Lie Flat in the Jie Sect and Attain the Dao!

Lu Qing was an overworked office worker on Blue Star. On his way home from work, a heavy truck slammed into him and sent him to the Primordial World.

He became a gray sparrow with an ordinary bloodline. To make a place for himself in the Primordial World,

Lu Qing cultivated for several thousand years, finally becoming a Celestial Immortal and joining the Jie Sect.

He could bask in the sun and practice at the Sages' dojo, then later find a comfortable post in the Heavenly Court and avoid the Investiture of the Gods.

Lu Qing thought his plan was flawless.

But on his seventh day in the Jie Sect, his golden finger arrived.

[Lie Flat System: Lie flat to gain cultivation. Keep lying flat, and you can earn extra rewards.]

Lu Qing took one look and immediately changed his mind. Why bother going to the Heavenly Court? He'd lie low in the Jie Sect and secretly attain the Dao first!

But after the Lie Flat System bound itself to him, Lu Qing found that things kept taking stranger turns. Starting with the split of the Three Pure Ones, the more he wanted to lie flat, the more trouble came looking for him!

Many years later.

Tongtian: "Disciple Lu Qing, I'm entrusting you with the post of Vice Leader of the Jie Sect. Be sure to manage the sect well on my behalf."

Lu Qing: "Master, please don't! I just want to lie flat and attain the Dao in peace!"
