The dramatic turn of the Russian writer Solzhenitsyn's thoughts in his life triggered widespread controversy in the international academic community. This book is Qian Liqun's second monograph. It is his relatively comprehensive review of all aspects of Zhou Zuoren. This book selects the English translation of "Chu Ci" by Yang Xianyi, Gladys Dai, Sun Dayu, Xu Yuanchong and Zhuo Zhenying as the research object. Over the past sixty years since the founding of New China, literary theory has played an extremely important role in the social and cultural life of the Chinese people in different historical periods. From the influence of some literary and artistic controversies on the political trends of the time in the early years of the founding of the People's Republic of China, to the situation in which literature and art entered the core area of ​​the ideological and cultural field during the "Cultural Revolution", to the great significance of literature and art in promoting the transformation of ritual forms in the early days of reform and opening up, to the role of literature and art research in the construction of contemporary society and culture in the first decade of the new century, this book has conducted careful research.

Although Johnson's approach of introducing an Eastern perspective when reflecting on racial issues in the United States still has certain limitations, it is undoubtedly of positive significance in strengthening mutual understanding and exchanges between Eastern and Western cultures.

This manuscript is a general project of the National Social Science Foundation "Research on the Identity of Speakers of Literary Theory in the New Era" (project approval number is 10BZW009), and the appraisal result is "good". This study starts from the perspective of the identity of literary theory speakers in the new era, combines the study of literary theory with the study of literary theory speakers, and breaks the limitation of previous literary theory research on theory. "An Integrated Review of Modern and Contemporary Chinese Women's Literature" mainly talks about looking at the history of Chinese women's literature in the 20th century. An important research perspective is: how to see the evolution and development trajectory of women's literature in the context of modern Chinese culture, and then grasp the generation, inheritance and evolution of women's cultural concepts and women's literary forms within this overall cultural framework, thereby summarizing the historical experience that should be expected in the development of Chinese women's literature.
