The main content of this book is the author's research and review articles on modern and contemporary literature published in important national and provincial newspapers since the 1990s until recent years. In addition, it also includes five or six research papers written in the past two or three years that have not yet been published. The content of this book is divided into three parts. The first volume is titled "Reexamination and Determination" and its contents include: 1. Comprehensive research on modern and contemporary literature. Research on the works of important writers. Such as the study of novels and prose by writers such as Lu Xun, Yu Qiuyu, and Zhang Chengzhi. The second volume is titled "Searching for Scale", and its content focuses on exploring the writing rules of modern and contemporary literary works through detailed analysis of literary works, and reiterating the critical standards of modern and contemporary literature. The third volume is titled "Selection and Interpretation" and contains case studies of local literary creation. Although this book covers a wide range of topics, the content of most chapters is relatively focused. The first is to rethink and observe the changes in literature since the 1980s, and the second is to explore the rules of modern and contemporary literary writing and redefine the standards of criticism.
