Savior, but a Beagle

In Star Era 2002, five-month-old Wan Qi was found and brought to the Anomalous Affairs Investigation Bureau.

In Star Era 2018, Wan Qi was sixteen.

She had already fully revealed her true nature as a little demon king.

From single-handedly entering an instance and perfectly subduing an A-rank aberrant to getting complaints for being too rambunctious, Wan Qi would keep one eye closed, use ketchup to fake a bloody wound, and burst into tears to try to intimidate people.

At sixteen years and one month, she dumped an A-rank aberrant at the Bureau's entrance.

At sixteen years and two months, she blew up an S-rank anomalous instance.

At sixteen years and three months, an SS-rank aberrant came to the Bureau's entrance to complain about how Wan Qi had bullied it.

At seventeen, Wan Qi wreaked havoc in instances ranging from A-rank to SS-rank, making life miserable for both people and aberrants.

The Bureau's staff: I'll endure it...

Until the day Wan Qi came of age, when she went to deal with an SSS-rank aberrant and mysteriously disappeared.

The entire Bureau launched a search and rescue operation, only to see the SSS-rank aberrant turn itself in. When the aberrant saw them, it looked as if it had found its saviors. Wearing an expression of pain and terror, it cried: [Please take her away! I'll surrender, okay?!]

Wan Qi grew up surrounded by love. Everyone at the Bureau treated her well, and her life was colorful and chaotic, with only the occasional oddity among her "neighbors." At first, though, they all ignored her.

Wan Qi was high-energy and needed constant attention. While everyone at the Bureau was busy clearing out aberrants, her "neighbors" were the ones who looked after her.

Wan Qi liked Weiwei from Building 1 best. When Wan Qi was eight, she ripped off Weiwei's tail and planned to roast it. Weiwei fed her chili flakes while whimpering.

Ms. Chen from Building 3 was the most patient with her. When Wan Qi was ten, she mixed together all the different eyeballs Ms. Chen had collected. Ms. Chen just nagged at her: "Oh, you little rascal!"

Miss Bai from Building 4 was a cool beauty. When Wan Qi was twelve, she went to visit Miss Bai with a cake she'd made herself. Miss Bai let out a piercing shriek and froze Wan Qi for three whole days and nights.

What Wan Qi didn't know was that all her "neighbors" were aberrants.

The aberrants, tormented to no end by Wan Qi, spontaneously formed an organization. Every day, every moment, they filed reports to their leader, the only SSSS-rank aberrant recorded by the Bureau.

However, the aberrants saw their leader, Rong Huaizhi, walking right behind Wan Qi, telling her things like "Be careful" and "Don't run so fast."

A moment later, Rong Huaizhi came before the aberrants and said ominously, "My wife is beautiful and adorable. You know that, right? If you dare know it, you're dead."

The aberrants all shook their heads: "L-Leader, we're on your side!"

Mini-scene:

At first, Rong Huaizhi was furious about what Wan Qi had done. She went into an instance specifically to teach Wan Qi a lesson, listing all the things Wan Qi had done to her "neighbors" on a four-meter-long charge sheet.

Wan Qi immediately started fake-crying, covering her face as she sobbed while keeping an eye on Rong Huaizhi to make sure she wasn't angry. Once she was sure, Wan Qi took out her ketchup, ready to squeeze some onto her wrist.

Rong Huaizhi was so exasperated that she made Wan Qi write an apology letter and promise not to bully the innocent "neighbors" again.

Rong Huaizhi thought Wan Qi would ask someone at the Bureau to write it for her, and expected a few simple words like "I'm sorry."

But when she unfolded the note, it read: "Big Sister, I love you."

Reader's Guide:

The story is mainly told from the protagonist's perspective, with episodic instance arcs.

1. All-female world. Some aberrants are good, some bad, and there are villainous women.

2. A patient, indulgent boss lady x a house-wrecking, loyal puppy of a little sister. Nonhuman romance, with an age gap of several hundred years or so.

3. More to come if I think of anything.
