Players can freely choose among six classes: knight, assassin, healer, warrior, summoner, and mage. There are all kinds of ways to develop your character and earn achievements. By the time Tan Yi officially logged into the game, it had already been out for three months.

But Tan Yi regretted it. Each person could bind their identity only once, and after she entered her details, the game System automatically assigned her a class: [Kamen Rider]

Healer 233, ID [I Really Value My Life], drew the attention of players and people outside the game alike with her antics. With the qualifiers for the first world tournament in "The Chosen" underway, Tan Yi believed that, as a healer, her only hope was to be picked up by some kind soul, so she made a pitiful little recruitment post.

She never expected her teammates to be such oddballs.

An assassin who could kill people and fight like a Kamen Rider, a summoner whose summons were all kinds of divine beasts but were extremely unreliable, a warrior who could fight like crazy despite being afraid of blood and heights, and a mage who had skipped class at a famous magic academy.

Tan Yi: Geniuses! My team really is the best!

Tan Yi quickly assembled her team, but none of the factions had any faith in them.

Players: A team this unbalanced will never make it to the end!

As it turned out, their plays left everyone, in and out of the game, utterly amazed.

Players: So your moves give your teammates skill points?!

After the qualifiers ended and the players had formed their own teams, "The Chosen" held its first in-person gathering. Only then did everyone finally meet Tan Yi, the healer and Kamen Rider. She had her hair dyed a striking red, while her teammates ran all over the venue. Tan Yi hugged a thermos like an old lady. The black-haired woman behind her coaxed and cajoled her into taking a pill. "Be good. When today's event is over, I'll take you out to have fun."

Tan Yi had truly forgotten a lot. The only thing that felt familiar was how to play the game. Then one day, she ran into the famous assassin who killed without batting an eye, and reached out a hand in greeting.

"Hello, have we met somewhere before?"

She looked familiar.

But Tan Yi couldn't remember her at all.

Fang Chuxian, head of the Fang family, was one of the developers of "The Chosen." After returning from studying abroad, Fang Chuxian planned to visit her childhood friend, whom she hadn't seen in a long time, only to learn that she had passed away. While sorting through her belongings, she found the earliest version of "The Chosen": a story she'd made up as a child to cheer the girl up.

At a business dinner, amid the clinking of glasses, she saw the girl she'd dreamed of day and night. She could barely stand, her gaze fixed on the girl, burning with longing. With trembling hands, she took out the ring she'd carried with her, prepared long ago. "Happy birthday, Xiao Yi."

The girl across from her looked confused. "Who are you?"

Reader's Guide

1. ABO world setting, no paranormal elements. Magical creatures have no gender (some are described in human form).

The younger sister is 17 and the older sister is 23 after the younger one is reborn.

Mutual top and bottom, told from both perspectives.

A cool and distant older sister in public, with separation anxiety in private x a lively younger sister who's a bit robotic and scatterbrained, like a little cat.
