Shiliuye Qingyu transmigrated to a new world and, while still dazed and confused, joined an organization.
He didn't care what kind of organization he had ended up in, but he soon discovered that it was full of handsome men!
As an oddity among his own kind, Shiliuye Qingyu was only attracted to men. This place was practically paradise.
And so began his long-overdue love life as a splendid fairywren: D
Monday: Give Bourbon flowers.
Tuesday: Give Scotch a smoldering look.
Wednesday: Put on a display for Rye.
Thursday: Be Gin's gentle support staff.
Friday...
What? You want to know how he can be so fickle?
His species is famous for being a promiscuous bird! Even after choosing a mate, both partners still go out and cheat every night. Isn't that perfectly normal?
There were countless rumors about Blue Orange in the organization.
But the most common ones... were definitely about his (failed) love life.
Member A: "The first time I saw him, I wondered how long this beautiful, ethereal young man would survive in the organization. I never expected the real danger to come from somewhere else... But he still managed to survive just fine. I guess no one who makes it into the organization is ordinary."
Member B: "Guess what color flowers he'll bring Bourbon tomorrow. I bet they'll either be the deep blue of his hair or the sky blue of his eyes. He's so vain. Couldn't he pick a color that matches Bourbon's hair for once?"
Member C: "You have no idea how he looked at Scotch during that last mission! He was gazing at him so adoringly, you'd think Scotch was already his wife. If it were me, I'd have been sick from all that sweetness. I can't believe Scotch managed not to shoot him."
Member D: "No one's talking about Rye? How many of Rye's targets has he stolen by now? Who taught him to pursue people like that??"
Member E: "Come to think of it, Big Brother Gin is the only one with enough authority to keep him in line. He's at his most well-behaved when he's with Gin..."
Everyone was certain that even though Blue Orange was genuinely good-looking, the people he harassed with these tactics could only find him utterly exhausting.
And yet...
Bourbon cradled the deep blue baby's breath and buried his face in it for a long sniff. Then he looked up and closed in on the man who had dropped off the flowers and run.
"Running off so quickly. Are you in a hurry to get to Scotch?" He gripped the young man's throat. "These flowers don't smell much like you..."
His low murmur forced the young man closer, and Bourbon buried his face against his neck, taking a deep sniff.
"That's more like it." His canine brushed the tender skin, feeling the pulse of the blood vessels beneath it. Bourbon was pleased to feel the man in his arms stiffen.
As they retreated into a narrow alley, Scotch suddenly stopped.
"Didn't I tell you?" His voice held an inexplicable restraint. "Don't look at me like that."
He didn't turn around. His expression remained controlled, but the moment a hand tentatively hooked around his fingertips, he crumbled completely.
His body moved faster than his mind. Scotch slammed the young man behind him against the wall, stroked his blue-black hair, then leaned close, his gaze dark and deep.
In the end, though, all he did was give the young man a reprimanding little bite on the cheek.
Rye regarded the young man calmly as he flaunted the prey he'd just stolen from him.
"If you want them, you can have them." His voice was cool, but as soon as the young man stopped in front of him, he suddenly grabbed his wrist. Caught off guard, the young man lost his balance and fell into Rye's lap.
"But... a deal has to be fair. Don't you think you should offer me something else in exchange?"
A soft bed lay beneath his knees.
Rye's tone was suggestive, his meaning unmistakable.
Under Vodka's hesitant gaze, Gin grabbed the little braid at the back of the young man's head and dragged him inside. The door slammed shut.
Gin let go, and the young man clutched the back of his head as he fell to the floor. Click. A cocked gun pressed against his forehead.
"'I will obey your orders without question.' That's what you said back then, as I recall. Heh. What, are you having second thoughts?"
He bent down and slowly crouched, his voice cold.
"Be a good boy and do as you're told. Understand? Otherwise, we'll see whether you can run faster..."
"Or my bullets."
Gradually realizing he was in over his head, Shiliuye Qingyu covered his cheeks, which had nearly given away his blue feathers several times because his emotions were so unstable, and fell into thought.
With his species' nature, wasn't it perfectly normal for him to be a little promiscuous?
Why were they all acting like he'd committed an unforgivable crime? QAQ!
No, his bird instincts told him danger was fast approaching. Shiliuye Qingyu made up his mind on the spot.
He was going to run away! He'd leave tomorrow!
A little note: He's a bird who turned into a human, so yes, the kid can fly.
