Has Tsurumaru Quit Today?

After his master passed away, Tsurumaru Kuninaga lost interest in the same unchanging work he had done day after day, and chose to leave the Enforcement Division.

But he never expected that, after an accident, he would somehow become the Saniwa of a newly established Honmaru. Before he knew it, his attitude had shifted from 'I'm just here to lend a hand' to 'Why are there so many things I have to worry about? Will I manage to quit by the end of the year?'...

Tsurumaru: Wait, this isn't right!

Yagen Toushirou, who was manning the front desk today, pushed up his glasses and looked up. "Hello, how can I..."

His words caught in his throat. He looked the visitor up and down, then finally broke into a genuine smile.

"Well, did you finally remember to come back and visit us, Tsurumaru-dono?"

Tsurumaru Kuninaga, sensing the teasing in his words: "..."

"All right, I was wrong to be out of touch for so long, but I really didn't go out to have fun and forget about you all." He sighed. "I have something important to discuss this time, you know?"

Yagen Toushirou listened attentively.

"Let's skip the backstory. Anyway, my Honmaru has run into a bit of trouble..."

"Please, help me out."

Yagen Toushirou: "..."

Yagen Toushirou: "…"

Wait, what did you say?

Your what???

A little rambling:

I want to write a powerful Tsurumaru with a background in the Enforcement Division. Since I'm writing it that way, all the swords in the Honmaru will definitely be ones he picked up along the way, haha.

I'm planning to write a story about saving corrupted swords, but Tsurumaru will probably be running around like a headless chicken. (Runs away)
