Saying One Thing, Meaning Another

[Proud yet insecure entrepreneur vs. straightforward yet oblivious composer]

Song Qinghuan is a hotshot composer in her field,

but after spending more than twenty years single, she's no good at writing love songs.

To find inspiration, she decides to practice on her childhood friend, He Jingxing.

He Jingxing remains cool and unmoved.

Fine, if one door doesn't open, another will.

Song Qinghuan turns around and starts dating another guy.

Now He Jingxing is the one who can't sit still.

After much deliberation, the proud young master decides to swallow his pride and confess first.

But on the way to meet her, he gets into a car accident and shatters both legs.

The once-aristocratic heir can now do nothing but stay cooped up in his room, shouting all day.

When Song Qinghuan hears about it, she figures that better blood circulation will help his recovery, so she shows up at his door and insists on helping with his rehabilitation.

He can't yell her away, so, blushing furiously, he grits out, "...It's no use. A cripple like me can't feel anything!"

Song Qinghuan ignores him and keeps running her hands over him.

When she touches a certain spot, she asks in confusion, "Then why is this harder than your mouth?"
