After a car accident on his commute, Ning Feifan closed his eyes and opened them again in the body of a young actor who had been pushed out of a role and died by suicide. He also found an acting System in his head, which promised that if he completed a 100-day acting improvement plan of its own design, it would help him coast to victory in the entertainment industry.

Ning Feifan: There's such a good deal?

Once he completed the plan, good opportunities really did come pouring in.

His debut variety show became a huge hit. He won over both CP shippers and solo fans, and rose straight to newly minted top-star status.

Acting offers kept coming, one excellent production after another. He passed auditions at first glance and became a hit from the start.

Every appearance gained him fans, and the System personally managed his fandom. His fans were capable, tough, and willing to spend, yet never caused trouble.

After he became famous, everyone around him turned out to be a good person. The glittering entertainment industry became a utopia, and everywhere he went, he was greeted with flowers and applause.

Ning Feifan thought this life felt like a hallucination from eating poisonous mushrooms, but he was perfectly content to lie flat.

He took in good opportunities and turned out good productions. He's a lazy fish, but a lazy fish with professional standards.

He just couldn't figure out why he had so many CP fans with a certain someone.

When Mo Wenhe first met Ning Feifan, he thought he was handsome and dazzling, and wanted to get closer to him. So he spent an entire variety show getting to know him, going from calling him "Brother Ning" in the preview to the very end. It wasn't until the show wrapped that he realized the "torrential downpour" outside was everyone shipping them after he'd turned a puzzle-solving variety show into a dating show.

The next time he saw Ning Feifan was on set. In a big-budget drama, Mo played the second male lead and Ning Feifan played the third. Their characters were on the same side and shared a mutual respect. Ning Feifan acted so well that Mo found it hard to step out of character, and when their characters were parted by death, he cried so hard he couldn't pull himself together.

He saw Ning Feifan again at the platform's year-end awards ceremony. They walked the red carpet and accepted an award together. One glance between them set off the audience, but amid the clamoring crowd, Mo saw only Ning Feifan's smiling face.

So this was what falling in love felt like.

Their CP fans really had great taste.
