Heads up: this story has a rare pairing, Gin x Shinichi Kudo, with the order significant. If you can't accept it, please click away. To each their own, so let's respect and understand one another. Fellow fans, feel free to leave a comment! Here's the blurb-

Shinichi Kudo wasn't just a little annoyed lately. He was incredibly, extremely annoyed-

The culprit got away during an investigation. He went to an amusement park with his childhood friend and ran into a murder case, then got clobbered after witnessing a suspicious deal. His body even turned into that of an elementary school student. And that wasn't all. Just when he finally came face to face with the mastermind and was about to catch him, disaster struck from above, and he switched bodies with him!

Shinichi Kudo opened his eyes to find that he had become Gin, with silver hair, green eyes, and that same black trench coat.

Meanwhile, in the mirror at the detective agency, Gin saw the face of the elementary-school detective he hated most.

To keep their identities from being exposed, the sworn enemies made the most absurd deal in history:

Until they switched back, they'd perfectly play each other, with absolutely no OOC behavior!

So Kudo was forced to smoke a cigarette or suck on a candy while looking at Vodka. “This confession... I mean, work report, is pretty good.”

When Gin pitched his voice high to call Ran Mouri “Big Sister Ran,” he nearly ground his back teeth to dust.

At a serial arson scene, “Gin” crouched beside the ashes, eyes shining as he made deductions. Vodka had no choice but to remind him, “Ahem, Boss, we're not here to catch the culprit. We're accomplices...”

At a crime scene, “Shinichi Kudo” coldly tossed the suspect's plan for fake alibis onto the table. “This piece of garbage? I can think of eight holes in it in ten seconds. You're lowering the IQ of the entire criminal world! I really want to... ahem... revoke your right to commit crimes for the rest of your lives!”

As time passed, Kudo and Gin both discovered another side of each other. Behind the truth lay another truth. So buckle up and hold on tight: the story begins!
