Don't Sneak a Bite!

[A super short free story. Tap the star so you don't lose your way!]

Jiang Tu has caught his lover sneaking out in the middle of the night three times.

The first two times, he did his best to pretend to be asleep, then spent the daytime reflecting on himself and treating the boy even better, hoping his sincerity could save their love.

But the facts proved he had failed.

He endured the pain twisting in his chest, pretended to be half-awake, and wrapped his arms around the boy who had just returned to their room.

The boy's heartbeat was slightly quick. He naturally nestled into Jiang Tu's embrace, his hair carrying a trace of perfume that was meant to cover something up.

When dawn came, Jiang Tu got up to make breakfast. Afraid the boy wouldn't sleep comfortably without his embrace, he thoughtfully arranged a body pillow for him.

He had to work overtime unexpectedly that day. During a break, he stared at their empty chat and lost himself in thought for a moment.

Had the boy woken up? Why hadn't he messaged him?

But it was all right. He would forgive him, as long as the boy kept choosing him.

Now it was the fourth time he had caught the boy sneaking out in the middle of the night.

He didn't want to pretend to be asleep anymore. He got up and sat in the pitch-black living room, waiting for his lover to come home.
