In the year 30x0 of the interstellar era, a mining operation triggered an avalanche on a planet locked in eternal winter, within the star systems governed by the Jialan Empire.

Afterward, the survivors began suffering from a mysterious freezing curse.

Bit by bit, their bodies stiffened, froze over, and crumbled into dust.

Worse still, the curse proved contagious.

Cheng Wang, warden of the Prison Guard Bureau, was sent to investigate the planet in a crisis. A sentinel with a "god-tier" mental entity, he arrived at the site of the disaster.

Bo An raised one hand to Cheng Wang's cheek. Bloody tears fell from his eyes, staining his lips an exquisite red.

With a gentle, bewitching voice, he tempted Cheng Wang: "Darling, forget your faith. Forget them. Will you?"

Cheng Wang's eyes were dark, shadows flickering within them as he suppressed a surging desire.

The skin at his throat shifted. His fingers brushed over his lover's tear-streaked face, wiping away his sorrow as he licked the tears away. "Darling, you are my faith. My beloved, my darling, I want you to live for yourself."
