Chen Yinling, female, born in the Yin year, Yin month, Yin day, and Yin hour. Three moles on her face supposedly mean she will bring bad luck to her husband and have few children. Sold off as a child, she practices unorthodox arts, behaves in outrageous ways, and flirts with the leader of the righteous path, who is also a woman. The Daoist sects hate her to the core and attack her all at once.

But she's as slippery as a fish. Even while running for her life, she never forgets to tease that radiant, moonlike leader of the righteous path.

During the battle at Blood Sea Peak in the Extreme Spring Mountains, Chen Yinling finally slipped up and was cornered by the righteous leader.

"Fine, everyone dies eventually. I might as well die beneath a peony..." Though gravely wounded, Chen Yinling was utterly unconcerned. She even hooked a finger beneath the beautiful woman's chin. "Qingling, are you really not going to give me a kiss?"

Wen Qingling, who had endured her teasing for long enough, let her phoenix eyes shimmer. "A kiss."

"Huh? Wait..."

Caught completely off guard, Chen Yinling fell into the same trap twice. The righteous leader caught her in her arms, and the two of them kissed as they plunged off the cliff amid the mountains swirling with killing intent.

From then on, the world lost a demon and a beacon of righteousness, but gained a pair of Daoist partners whom the world would never accept.

A hundred years later, after everyone believed they had died, the two returned and once again turned the Daoist sects upside down.

Chen Yinling, looking smug: "Didn't see that coming, did you? This time, the righteous leader is on my side."

A melodramatic love story about an outrageous, shameless demon who won't stop pestering the righteous leader, only to somehow win over a second outrageous woman who merely pretends to be proper.
