Cheng Liyang, the S+ top Sentinel, has lived to the age of 108 without ever bonding with a Guide. He survives on artificial Guide pheromones and mechanical mental soothing. With barely any time off all year and every possible buff stacked against him, he's become the ticking time bomb the Jialan Empire worries about most.

By an incredible coincidence, that time bomb went off while he was being forced to work overtime during one of his rare days off.

Who knew what strange impulse had seized the chief justice, but he started going out of his way to please him: cooking, bringing him meals, giving him flowers, taking him to see the aurora, and politely and considerately soothing his mind. Afterward, he even released his own spirit animal to tempt Cheng Liyang, a hardcore fluff enthusiast, into falling for him.

Cheng Liyang: I will not give in.

They say you have to fall in love with someone's spirit animal before you fall in love with them. Cheng Liyang gradually fell for him amid his tenderness and affection, and prepared to bond with his Guide.

In bed, the Guide, who was always so gentlemanly and courteous, suddenly became a completely different person. His fluffy white ferret spirit animal transformed into the divine beast Bai Ze, and he thoroughly ravished both Cheng Liyang and his poor Arctic wolf spirit animal.

Cheng Liyang was caught completely off guard and terrified.

What's more, in the middle of bonding, Cheng Liyang accidentally discovered that his Guide was the very idiot he'd planned to assassinate!

Feng Shize visibly grew sad. As the emotions of his Bai Ze spirit animal caused a heavy snowstorm to start outside, Cheng Liyang said, "Wait, I love you! I still have to go out later, so stop the snow!"

Feng Shize's eyes lit up, and he pounced on Cheng Liyang: "I love my wife most too. I want you!"
