Ever since starting high school, Nan Shi'an has been on an abstract path with no way back. His friends often scold him: "You're so absurd it's unreal. You'll get what's coming to you one of these days."
Nan Shi'an doesn't care. Then, that very night, a chandelier drops on him and sends him to another world.
This is a world where chuunibyou and Mary Sue fiction coexist, a den of all kinds of bizarre protagonists. Here, a Mary Sue appears at every turn, and a chuunibyou teenager is never more than three steps away. No one can speak normally.
And he becomes a cannon fodder character at Saint Mary Academy, the kind they send wherever he's needed.
Nan Shi'an calmly sits up. "It's fine. I'm not normal either."
Then a Mary Sue heroine with rainbow-colored hair cheerfully runs over, while an unknown voice, possibly a malfunctioning narrator, drones in his ear: "The morning sun shone brightly. She came with the sunlight, her dazzling eyes shifting through countless colors. A fresh young girl, bright as the sun."
The Mary Sue heroine introduces herself. He smiles and immediately starts talking nonsense. "Hey there, hey there! I'm Garlic Boy, and my dog's name is Ginger Girl."
The Mary Sue heroine: "..." Is this guy nuts?
One time, the school organized an outing, but rainy weather threatened to cancel it. Just as the plan was about to be called off, Nan Shi'an grabbed the Mary Sue male lead beside him and ran outside.
He smiled threateningly at the male lead. "Smile!"
The Mary Sue male lead smiled, and sunlight suddenly poured down. The skies cleared.
The other NPCs: "What kind of move is that?"
Nan Shi'an looked completely sincere as he gazed tenderly at the Mary Sue male lead. "I guess his smile really is as brilliant as sunshine."
The NPCs: "So you mean that literally..."

As cannon fodder, how can he not get involved with one of the protagonists?
So Nan Shi'an joined a banquet just to make up the numbers. He did nothing, yet a crystal chandelier shattered at his feet. Sure enough, the protagonist caught him, and he became a cannon fodder character working to pay off his debt.
Rumor had it this protagonist was an arrogant, conceited, vindictive, moody, slightly chuunibyou and tsundere little yandere.
At their first meeting, the little yandere was displeased. He sneered, took out a card, and tossed it at Nan Shi'an's feet. His tone was full of contempt. "Get on your knees. This ten million is yours."
Nan Shi'an didn't hesitate for a second. He dropped to his knees at lightning speed, picked up the card with one hand, and earnestly took the little yandere's hand with the other. Mustering all his passion, he shouted, "You! Are my! God!"
At their second meeting, the little yandere was irritable from lack of sleep. The butler gave Nan Shi'an a tough assignment: get the young master to sleep.
Under the little yandere's gloomy, twisted glare, Nan Shi'an calmly put on white gloves and straightened his tie.
"I'll dance for you, young master."
The next second, loud music blared: "Five-nine, what's up, it's time to go to bed."
"Yare yare..."
Before the dance was even over, Nan Shi'an gracefully closed the door, blocking the pillow the little yandere threw at him.
The young master slept soundly. After all, he had no time to mope that night, only to get angry.
See? He always said being absurd was his true calling.
--
One day, Nan Shi'an figured he'd saved up enough money. He packed his things and prepared to run away. But the moment he lifted a foot, a chain snapped around his ankle.
The little yandere young master appeared behind him like a ghost, wrapped his arms around him, and breathed in his scent. His face, hidden in shadow, was full of gloom and madness.
"You can only stay with me forever."
Nan Shi'an: I'm done for. I was so busy being absurd that I forgot this guy's also a yandere.
He smiled and promptly dropped to his knees. "I was wrong."
He'd do it again next time.
*A chaotic, irresistible beauty who is determined to be absurd, the pursued one x a gloomy, chuunibyou little madman and yandere at first, later a short-tempered, speechless, and thoroughly converted old absurdist yandere.
*There is a running-away arc, but only a pursuit of his love, no groveling redemption arc. Given how absurd the pursued one is, the groveling arc would be put out as soon as the first little flame appeared.
*Both are virgins, happy ending, one-on-one romance.
