You Promised Rolling Back the Save Would Give Us a Happy Ending

The protagonist enters an otome dating game built around contrasts. To clear the game and return to reality, she has to win over four male leads plus one hidden male lead.

Having never pursued anyone before, she asks, "I don't know how. How am I supposed to win them over?"

System: "We've got an affection meter and a save function!"

The protagonist: "Now I get it!"

So she says one thing, checks the affection meter, then saves.

The protagonist: "Good morning? Good afternoon? Good night?"

Male lead's affection: -1, +0, +1.

Got it. He likes good night and dislikes good morning!

So every day, she asks, "Good night? Good night? Good night?"

System: "..."

The protagonist gradually learns how to win them over, and discovers she can have fun with it, too.

For example, when the male leads are about to clash in a love triangle, she reloads a save.

She does something bad to make a male lead angry, then reloads just as he's about to lose it.

And so on.

But just as their affection meters are nearly full and a happy ending is in sight,

the male leads suddenly awaken with memories of every save file.

The protagonist: "..."

Why did she get the yandere imprisonment ending?

The protagonist: "Reload! Start over!"

But when she starts over, the male leads block the door, and she gets a bad ending in a love-triangle showdown on the spot.

The protagonist: "...Weren't reloads supposed to get me a happy ending?"

A delightfully terrible protagonist with a troublemaker's mindset x (the number and character profiles of the male leads are yet to be decided)

An overly possessive older brother with no legitimate claim to her

A rich, idle second-generation heir who's also an eccentric nomadic painter

A popular idol who's sunny on the outside and gloomy on the inside

An antique shop owner, but he's a sand-hand

And more
