Mayfly: 24 Hours

[Time Remaining: 23:59:59]

I woke up in the bathtub of a small room. A red countdown flashed on the electronic screen across from me.

That's right. I had only twenty-four hours left to live.

When I pulled open the curtains, the view outside displayed: [No permission to view at this time]

A tablet lay on the table. Its screen read: [Complete tasks to exchange for more time alive]

I wanted to live. For more than just twenty-four hours.
