The Creator Goddess Descends Upon the World

Humans used magic to transcend the limits of their bodies, soar between sky and sea, and fight monsters born in the darkness.

The source of all this power was the Mother Goddess, the Creator, the origin of all things, who lay atop the World Tree: the "Source."

Under the protection of four new gods, the Black Dragon, Moonlight, Flower Hymn, and Silence, She briefly awakened once every ten years to watch over Her people.

But the Mother Goddess had not awakened for two hundred years.

Yuan Chu's graduation thesis was titled "Simulating the Development of Human Civilization in a High-Magic World."

At the start of the simulation, she created an ordinary person's account and guided the first generation of humans in learning magic. Four children among them were her favorites, so she taught them combat, surveillance, parasitism, and spellcasting magic, respectively.

She told them to call her "Mother."

Then she logged out of the world, only occasionally signing in to check on its progress. After finishing her thesis, she never visited again.

Until Yuan Chu awoke in her test account.

She was now the frail little girl in the village, too weak to carry anything or even lift a finger, and who lost most of her health just from casting a spell.

The Black Dragon flew out of its stone statue. Flower Hymn rose from the sea of flowers.

Moonlight opened his eyes. Silence opened his mouth.

They sensed that somewhere in the world, their mother had awakened.

This time, they would never let her leave again.
