There's Something Strange by Your Side

Rui Yuxian moved into a very cheap apartment after a friend recommended it.

The apartment was lovely, spacious, and beautiful. It just didn't get any sun. Even when the sun was blazing outside, Rui Yuxian still found the rooms gloomy and cold. At least she could save a fortune on air conditioning in summer.

The strange things began on the third day.

The security guard at the door was a different age, gender, and species every time, but always wore the same name tag. The friendly neighbor cooked delicious food but never went out to buy groceries. The beautiful woman upstairs had a different face every day. The man downstairs called the police every day, saying he'd been murdered...

Landlord: If you're really scared, you can sell the lease secondhand to someone else. Then you'll be free.

Rui Yuxian: I'm not leaving. Every neighbor here is a genius, and they're all so nice. I love it here! I want to be their friend for life. You, waive my rent, give me two hundred yuan, and cook me two dishes.

Landlord: ...

Theme: Keep striving to live, for the sake of every beautiful day.
