A winged serpent demi-human from the Anahid system. Before hatching, he was nourished by Nanook's golden blood. His true beast form was so enormous that, upon hatching, he unconsciously burst the entire star system apart. Nanook came in person to take him away and elevate him to Lord Ravager.

Jinyun is regarded as the destroyer of [Beauty]. Throughout the universe, whenever someone feels intense admiration or awe for something that fits the concept of "beauty," Jinyun will descend and inflict on both the admirer and beauty itself a condition known as Stendhal syndrome. Whenever they encounter something beautiful, they will be overwhelmed by the sensation, and will never again be able to look directly at anything "beautiful."

But after Idrila, the Aeon of [Beauty], disappeared, Lord Ravager Jinyun also fell silent. According to the Mirror Holder's account, the last time this Lord Ravager was seen was in the 2157th Amber Era. While salvaging fragments of Idrila's divine body, the Mirror Holder was visited by Jinyun, who had followed the fragments there. He destroyed the entire glass planet made up of those fragments.

With nowhere else to turn, the mighty Lord Ravager disguised himself as an ordinary serpent demi-human and hid in a fruit shop on an uncharted planet, where he took a temporary job.

The old snake, who's lived through countless Amber Eras, was brimming with confidence: With acting skills like mine, my disguise is flawless! I can stay here for several Amber Eras without a problem!

But the young shop assistant, who was always hiding away to play games and occasionally turned into a little boy, stared at him the first time they met and silently projected a line of text from his phone:

"It's strange. The energy inside you is all over the place, like you've been hit by a Stellaron explosion."

Jinyun broke into a cold sweat. How can kids these days not only be smart, but also tell what someone's energy is like?

It wasn't until later, when they were dating, that Jinyun learned his young husband was Stephen, the 84th member of the Genius Society.

His seriously socially anxious, lazy husband had seen through every one of his disguises long ago!

Stephen just thought: This troublesome snake, who is sometimes absent-minded, sometimes bristles up, and is far too good-looking, has made his heart take the shape of a Cartesian function.

And so began a honeymoon across the stars, interwoven with the main storyline of Honkai: Star Rail:

To treat his illness, the socially anxious genius took him to Herta Space Station to meet Herta and Ruan Mei, and get to know the Astral Express family.

For a vacation, the retired Lord Ravager took him to the ocean planet Lushaka to salvage fragments of Beauty.

For a getaway, the two accidentally became a sensation in Penacony, where fans on the Star Network went wild shipping them.

On the Xianzhou Luofu, Snake calmly saw through the disguise of his colleague Phantylia, then casually rescued the real Tingyun and watched the whole show.

On the Star of Festivals, his energy accidentally leaked and blew up the "Dream of a Thousand Stars," helping the Astral Express Crew break the deadlock. But after appearing in the SoulGlad auditions, his beauty made him famous across the universe, and the Credits came pouring in.

He went to aid Amphoreus and faced another Lord Ravager in a showdown. Snake elbowed through the Iron Curtain, and Nanook cast a silent glance his way, seemingly at a loss for words.

He ran into Starquake on the Agate World, met Conflagration in the Glazed Lightway, and even encountered Return to Silence in the Dual-Phase Paradise...

Who wouldn't say:

This family of Lord Ravagers really does love one another and have such a warm, harmonious relationship between father and son (crossed out):D
