Lord Dottore! But as a Harbinger of Destruction

When Fyodor was killed for the Nth time and prepared to use his ability, Crime and Punishment, to reincarnate, something went wrong. He crossed time and space and ended up in the world of Honkai: Star Rail, waking on a planet called Yadlifin, where he gained a friend named Nanook...

Fyodor's original goal had been to create a world without ability users and purify humanity, which was steeped in sin. In this new world, full of Aeons, Emanators, and all manner of Paths, the urge to destroy came as naturally to him as breathing. After all, to welcome new life, one must first plunge into the end!

Living on Yadlifin, Fyodor witnessed the planet suffer the First Emperor's War, the Second Emperor's War, the Swarm Disaster, and a series of interstellar trade wars. He saw Nanook ascend to become the Aeon of Destruction, while he himself was elevated to an Emanator of Destruction, having likewise embraced the rejection of the gods.

Along the long road of following the concept of the Path of Destruction, Fyodor never forgot to search for the coordinates of his original world. After making use of the Genius Society's Number One, Zandar, and his double, Fyodor took the coordinates, boarded a starship, and jumped alone to the Solar System.

By then, Fyodor had the power to destroy a planet. Wiping out all ability users would be easy, but after experiencing a high-dimensional interstellar galaxy, he had no desire to punch down. A world with only abilities, by comparison, was just a little too quiet and harmless!

That's right, Fyodor came home for a vacation! And to finish the plan he'd never started before he transmigrated...

(This is a Fyodor-centric story! Giving Fedya a bit of a power boost!)

(You don't need to have read or played the source material to enjoy this.)

(Apologies if anyone feels out of character! If you're easily upset, please don't flame me.)

(All characters survive. A short story, not relentlessly grim. The plot mainly follows Fyodor, now an Emanator, returning to the Bungo Stray Dogs world.)
