Take Her [Forced Possession]

A sea of bitter love | A bloody, melodramatic mix | Taking by force

Blurb:

In the winter of the twenty-third year of Chengping, the emperor was critically ill, and the eunuch Ming Wenzhu held the court entirely in her hands.

On a snowy night, Ninth Princess Chu Yun waited outside the Hall of a Thousand Years. After the time it takes for one incense stick to burn, the doors swung open.

Mist swirled through the hall. Chu Yun's voice trembled. "I beg Auntie Ming to save me."

The gauze curtain lifted, revealing an extraordinarily beautiful face, pale and cold as frost, with eyes and brows sharp as blades.

The woman lowered her gaze at her leisure.

Chu Yun clenched her teeth and knelt prostrate on the ground. "I am willing to take Auntie Ming as my adoptive mother and offer you the realm to sustain you."

After a long while, a low laugh came from the high seat.

Another year of wind and snow.

The Hall of a Thousand Years was filled with flickering lamplight and layers of mist.

Chu Yun knelt prostrate on the cold green bricks. Her thin gauze robe was soaked with sweat, clinging to her curving figure.

Footsteps drew near. A cold, hard ruler lifted Chu Yun's chin. Her breath caught, and she felt as if she had fallen into an icy abyss.

"Did I hurt you?" Ming Wenzhu crouched down, replacing the ruler with her broad palm as she caressed Chu Yun's jaw.

Their breaths mingled. The woman's breath was fragrant, and she seemed like a ghost, like a demon.

"Come here."
