After Finding a Mermaid

Mysterious mountain-village girl x delicate, weepy mermaid beauty

Ye Zheng finds a mermaid in the mountains.

She thinks she’s stumbled upon an auspicious blessing from heaven, but after bringing it home, she realizes she’s picked up a spoiled little tyrant.

The mermaid is delicate and cries easily. The slightest hurt makes her curl up in the water and sob, and she won’t look up until she’s been comforted; she’s afraid of the dark and clingy, needing to be held to sleep peacefully at night. Let go for even a moment, and she burrows into Ye Zheng’s arms.

She’ll only bathe on sunny days, only eat salmon, and insists on sucking a lemon candy before kissing.

And...

They have to make love in the water.

Everyone in the village says Ye Zheng is raising a demon.

Breathing hotly by the mermaid’s ear, Ye Zheng looks down at the huge tail moving between her thighs. Cool scales press against her skin, sending a shiver through her.

Ye Zheng thinks to herself:

This really is a demon.
