Shi Yu realized that her icy nemesis, Si Mingyi, seemed to be dating someone behind their parents' backs.

Who was Si Mingyi? The top student in their grade, a model pupil, and a teacher's favorite. Ever since they were little, Shi Yu's mother had held her up as the gold standard, always nagging, "Just look at Si Mingyi!"

With irrefutable proof of the secret romance, Shi Yu was overjoyed. She stormed up to confront Si Mingyi.

Si Mingyi didn't look the least bit flustered. She glanced at Shi Yu, then suddenly stepped forward and pressed a soft kiss to her lips.

The world stood still for three seconds.

"Si Mingyi, what are you, you, you doing?!"

Shi Yu backed away, covering her burning lips. Stammering, she said, "I... I'm telling you, I'm not going to be the other woman!"

Si Mingyi leisurely wiped the corner of her mouth. "Go tell the teacher, then."

Shi Yu: "..."

Wretched Si Mingyi, trying all sorts of tricks to drag her down with her!

And later on,

Shi Yu really did get dragged down with her.

Shi Yu: ╥﹏╥ Si Mingyi, I really can't be the other woman, sob sob sob...
