After getting everything off their chests, they feel much better. But when they're about to leave and pay, they're told someone at the next table has already covered the bill.

Following the server's gesture, they look through the glass door and see the kind stranger from the next table about to get into his car. As he opens the door, he glances over at them.

Zhou Qian recognizes the boss she had just been passionately cursing out.

Liang Xuan recognizes the ex-boyfriend she dumped after graduating from university, one relationship before her most recent ex.

The downpours come and go in a flash.

Chen Xu hates rainy days with torrential downpours. But that night, through the curtain of rain, he sees Liang Xuan sheltering beneath the eaves.

She tips up her slender, pale neck and gazes at the misty rain.

Chen Xu pulls up beside her and suddenly feels glad the storm came.
