Nonhuman | Mutual pining | Snake person
-
You Xi is a human girl.
A freshman in college, she looks earnest and is shy and introverted.
But in secret, she's a well-known shoujo manga artist, currently working on a tentacle-themed story.
The proportions of tentacles and humans are so different that she can't find a good reference for her drawings, and she's stumped.
But lately, all her problems have been temporarily solved.
She found a figurine with a human torso and a snake's tail. It is finely crafted, with movable joints, and she can use her fingers to pose it however she likes.
There's just one thing that leaves her feeling awkward and confused.
Why does the figurine's face look so much like the person she has a crush on?
She Jianqing.
He's a snake person, with a human upper body and a snake's tail.
For the first eighteen years of his life (crossed out: snake life), She Jianqing hid his identity so well by transforming himself that nobody knew his secret. He looked just like an ordinary person.
After turning eighteen, he began experiencing his monthly heat.
Too proud to take care of it himself, he was given a sensory-link doll by his clan. Touching the doll would send sensations back to him and relieve his discomfort.
On the very first day She Jianqing got the doll, he accidentally lost it.
He thought it had fallen somewhere in his home, until one day his cold, sensitive tail felt a gentle touch.
Then he saw where it had ended up: in the hands of the girl he had secretly loved for ten years,
You Xi.

1. SJSC
2. The male lead is a snake person, so there will be plenty of descriptions of his snake-like appearance.
3. Pure romance, a sweet little treat! I'm writing this just for fun, so don't expect logic, only sweetness. The style is old-fashioned, so just turn your brain off and enjoy it. If it's really not your thing, just pick another book ·3·
