Disguised as a Man, I Make the Enemy Prince Fall for Me

When Shi Qing entered the Jixia Academy disguised as a man, she never imagined that one day Qin Yuan, that madman, would lead an army to the city gates and encircle Luoyi.

"A brilliant talent going unrecognized, betrayed and abandoned, left to crumble into the dust? Sir, this is what happens when you choose the wrong person."

Back when they studied together at Jixia Academy, Qin Yuan saw Taishi Qing as nothing more than a stubborn Confucian scholar.

But Taishi Qing and he understood each other perfectly.

Gradually, Qin Yuan began to long to see Taishi Qing smile. He enjoyed teasing her, and even in his hazy dreams, her figure appeared.

When he had been drinking, he would pretend to ask casually, "Taishi Qing, do you love men or women?" But when Taishi Qing was about to answer, Qin Yuan would blush in embarrassment, fling his sleeve, and storm away in frustration.

He began to distance himself from Taishi Qing, too ashamed to see her again.

What a joke. How could the crown prince of a kingdom fall in love with a man?

But on that rainy night when they parted at Jixia Academy,

Qin Yuan still brought Taishi Qing's seal, swallowing his pride as he invited her to return with him to Qin.

But in the end, Taishi Qing did not take the seal. She only looked at him coldly, then walked toward the crown prince of Chengzhou.

She had a miserable life after abandoning him.

He thought he ought to hate Taishi Qing, but when he saw her, he understood: what he hated was simply that she had not chosen him.

He thought that if he brought her into his service, this lingering resentment would finally disappear.

But even after welcoming Taishi Qing into the Yao Terrace, Qin Yuan's blood still cried out for more.

He wanted more.

"Between me and your former lord, who is more handsome?"

* The male lead isn't attracted to men; he only loves the female lead.

* The reveal comes relatively late, both for the male lead and for the fictional world as a whole.

Theme: It begins with talent and ends with the soul.
