She Is a Dragon

Father Emperor always held Zhao Hanzhang's hand and said, "My child is brilliant and can command the support of the masses. Officials and commoners alike praise you. It is a pity, my child, that if you were a man, my empire would have an heir to carry it on."

Her mother consort always reminded Zhao Hanzhang, "Hanzhang, you must be cautious in everything. You must never reveal that you are a woman. When your father passes away, you will be enfeoffed as a prince and granted a fief. Take your mother consort back to our homeland. Remember, remember!"

But the eldest imperial brother was ruthless, and the second imperial brother's maternal relatives were deeply entrenched at court.

The emperor used Zhao Hanzhang and her mother consort to purge the court, implicating countless officials. From the imperial consorts to powerful imperial relatives, everyone saw Zhao Hanzhang as a thorn in their side.

What choice did Zhao Hanzhang have?
