The Little One Isn't Human Again Today

Yaoyao is a precious little darling from a wealthy family. At home, he has a domineering CEO for a dad, a fussy and dramatic dad, and an all-capable butler grandpa. They're a perfectly ordinary human family (that's the important part).

But one day, Yaoyao sleepily crawled out of his little blanket and pulled a tiny tail from underneath it.

The tail was long and gleaming, with neat white scales and beautiful fin-like frills at the end.

It looked just like the little mermaid in the bedtime story from the night before!

Yaoyao wasn't a human child! Yaoyao was a little mermaid!

To protect his human dad and papa, Yaoyao decided:

One: Give up sleeping with Papa, even though it made him cry. He'd hug his little pillow, curl up in his own little bed, and be a brave little fish!

Two: So he wouldn't turn into dried fish, Yaoyao decided the bathtub would be his second home!

Three: Yaoyao would never eat fish again for the rest of his life!

Yaoyao spent the whole day thinking, and finally came up with a complete plan to protect his little fish self.

The next morning, Yaoyao woke up and crawled out of his blanket, staring blankly at his beautiful, bright red tail.

The tip of the red tail perked up, and it excitedly swished from side to side.

Yaoyao had turned from a little fish into a little snake!

Yaoyao: The sky is falling!

Yaoyao is a divine little darling, with a fish-tailed dad and a snake-tailed papa. This nonhuman family lives a happy, contented life.

It's just that Yaoyao has been acting rather strangely lately.

He always thinks he's human. Whenever his dads try to subtly guide him, he says with complete seriousness, "Yaoyao is human! I'm not a fish or a snake."

"Papa, my teacher says we live in a scientific society now, so we shouldn't spread superstition."

"Yaoyao can't grow a tail! Dad must have seen wrong!"

The parents: ???

Damn it, he must have spent too much time at human kindergarten.

With no other choice, they transferred Yaoyao to a monster kindergarten, hoping to guide him through this "cognitive disorder."

But on the first day of school, Yaoyao's dad got a call from the teacher: "Yaoyao has been going around kindergarten telling everyone he has two human dads today!"

After transferring to monster kindergarten, Yaoyao felt right at home. He had three little underlings on his left and three friends on his right, and got along with everyone like a fish in water.

His only worry was how to protect his human dad and human papa.

Luckily, Yaoyao wasn't alone!

His deskmate, a dragon from the West, gave him some valuable advice and even donated a dragon scale for protection.

So Yaoyao grabbed little underlings with one hand and friends with the other, and brought home a pile of rare treasures.

After receiving yet another gift from Yaoyao, his parents looked at the monster fur in their hands. Worried that their little darling might go too far and have his friends' parents come knocking, they tried to gently dissuade him:

"Sweetie, your dads don't need presents."

"There's no need, no need. We have plenty at home, really."

Yaoyao wiped the sweat from his face, grinning proudly but modestly, his whole expression saying, "Praise me, praise me!" "Yaoyao did a good job protecting Papa today, too~"

The parents: ???

The child and his parents both tried their best, and somehow things only got worse.

After his parents returned the protective treasure he'd worked so hard to bring home yet again, Yaoyao finally got mad. Clutching his little cloth bag, he stormed out of the house in a huff.

He was going to stop talking to his dads for three whole minutes!

But then a wicked monster kidnapped him. At the critical moment, his "human" parents transformed.

His fussy papa became a giant serpent towering over the sky, all nine heads opening their enormous, blood-red mouths.

His domineering CEO dad transformed into a violent merfolk. As he swept up their little darling, he casually upended the world.
