The Rough-Hewn General's Moon

Yan Guanshan was a demon who had crawled out of hell, all murderous fury and bloodstained hands. The villagers called him a heartless fiend who could kill without blinking. He couldn't be bothered to explain, and kept to himself, until he found a woman covered in wounds in the mountains.

Cui Qingyue had run away.

She had been abused by her relatives and traded like a piece of merchandise. She had fled for her life into the mountains, only to fall into an even more dangerous man's arms.

The man was as tall as a mountain, his fingertips rough, yet inexplicably gentle when he held her chin.

After that...

He made her a bamboo bed, but when she lay down, he stared at her slender waist with darkened eyes.

He bought her a bathing tub, but listened to the sound of water outside the door, his throat bobbing.

He avenged her, splattering blood everywhere, yet when he returned, he was afraid she'd cry. His rough hands clumsily wiped away her tears.

"Yan Guanshan..." she called to him in a trembling voice, then willingly nestled against his chest.

The man's whole body tensed, his breathing growing ragged.

They say women are soft as water... So this is what it feels like.

Rugged General x Sweetheart

(Tender tension / Unbridled possessiveness / Sweet healing)

Cui Qingyue x Yan Guanshan (an imaginary dynasty)

The male lead is absolutely devoted, with eyes only for his wife. He's a rugged man with a tender side, capable of all sorts of everyday skills, and highly skilled in combat.

The female lead is courageous and gentle! She doesn't just take things lying down! She has a mind of her own, can weave clothes and brew wine, and grows gradually over time.

This is a slow-paced rural life story. The later part will take place on the frontier. Readers are welcome to add it to their library and dive in!
