Candle Pact

Liang Muyun made a blood contract involving a candle, using the candle as its vessel. It was called the Candle Pact.

The candle needed the blood of a boss from each instance world as an offering to keep burning and begin the next instance.

One day after his grandmother passed away, Liang Muyun found a strange-looking candle among her belongings. The power went out that evening, so he lit it. Through the faint, curling smoke, he saw a tall, handsome man in his dream.

The man said he wanted to meet him, but Liang Muyun thought that was ridiculous and refused.

Yet the man appeared in his dreams again and again, saying that if Liang Muyun wouldn't come to meet him, he would come to Liang Muyun.

With no other choice, Liang Muyun agreed to meet him in person.

The man was even more handsome than in the dream, but also more unsettling.

Later, the man offered Liang Muyun ten million a month to stay. Looking at the man's quiet villa in the city center, Liang Muyun fell silent.

He figured the man could afford it.

So Liang Muyun moved in with him, and they began living together.

Then the Candle Pact's instances began.

They faced the challenges together, overcoming one instance after another.

Because of the Candle Pact, the top treated Liang Muyun as his own from the beginning, thinking nothing of hugging and touching him.

He gradually fell in love with him. The top is secretly a lunatic, and later, when Liang Muyun is taken away by a friend, he goes berserk, abandons the instance, and snatches his lover back.
