I Caught the Cool Class Monitor, Then Had to Make a Getaway

A proud, clueless young lady who flirts without realizing it x a cool, calculating heir who talks himself into falling for her

Shen Qing transferred to another school out of rebellion. There, she met a heaven-blessed prodigy, the undefeated legend of the school: top student Fu Huaizhi.

Fu Huaizhi was always icy and businesslike. Aside from a face as captivating as a celestial’s, he seemed to have no other redeeming qualities. He often interrogated Shen Qing under the pretext of checking her recitations or homework, every single time.

By chance, they became deskmates. As their paths crossed again and again, Fu Huaizhi was the first to fall. Here’s why:

Shen Qing acted cute. Fu Huaizhi: “There you go acting cute again.”

Shen Qing spoke normally. Fu Huaizhi: “There you go acting cute again.”

Shen Qing breathed. Fu Huaizhi: “There you go acting cute again.”

Shen Qing: “?”

Shen Qing: “Class monitor, it’s so cold today.”

Fu Huaizhi: “Mm.”

“Come hug me from behind.”

Shen Qing: “Why?”

Fu Huaizhi: “If we hug more, you won’t be cold.”

Later on, a misunderstanding separates them, and they get tangled up again. They love each other, but both are too awkward to admit it.

About the characters: In the early part, they’re in high school. Fu Huaizhi is around 172–173 cm, and later reaches 178 cm.

Shen Qing is 166 cm at first, and later reaches 172 cm.

Fu Huaizhi is cool and steady, with a hidden obsessive, unhinged side. He doesn’t have many secret identities, but every one of them is terrifying.

Shen Qing is a naturally clueless young lady. She’s a little proud and haughty at first, and her grades are bad, but she’s very clever.

The beginning is all sweet and fluffy.

Then later

Fu Huaizhi (?﹏?): “Wife (drawn out) wife! (crawling around in the shadows) (charging forward)”
