Cute, sweet little sister VS sharp-tongued, soft-hearted, narcissistic young master
1-
To prepare for the college entrance exam, Wen Lichu followed her grandmother's advice and transferred to Nancheng.
It was Wen Lichu's first time in the city. There were no hillsides full of pear blossoms, only towering buildings of steel and concrete.
Before she left, her grandmother reminded Wen Lichu to get along with He Sihuai and take good care of him.
He Sihuai was unlike any boy she'd ever met. He had fair skin and dressed neatly, but he was... really narcissistic.
One day, He Sihuai had a sore throat. Wen Lichu made him pear paste by hand, but he turned it down. "Don't fall for me. It won't end well."
Wen Lichu: "..."
He's sick. Grandma said folk remedies are the way to treat him.
The next day, Wen Lichu used pear peels, radish peels, and bitter melon to make He Sihuai a big pot of soup to cool him down.
He Sihuai eyed the murky gray soup with disdain. "Are you trying to poison me?"
In the end, the young master drank every last drop.

Later, there was a commotion downstairs. An excavator removed the crabapple and osmanthus trees in the yard. Wen Lichu asked, "What happened, bro?"
He Sihuai awkwardly rubbed the back of his head. "Nothing. Mom and Dad want pears and oranges, so they're planting a couple of fruit trees."
Wen Lichu thought, If they want to eat them, why not just buy some at the supermarket? Maybe they want fruit that's naturally grown and pesticide-free.
When pear blossoms drifted down, a swing appeared beneath the tree. He Sihuai said, "It's for my future wife and kids."
Wen Lichu couldn't help smiling. "Bro, you're really planning far ahead."
They got along peacefully for three years and were accepted into their dream universities.
On the day Wen Lichu returned to her hometown, He Sihuai saw her off with a pile of luggage and a huge bucket in his arms.
He shoved the bucket into Wen Lichu's hands and stammered, "I've been saving these aged orange peels for three years. They're all yours. And I made these pear-paste candies for you too."
He also handed her a blue envelope.
Wen Lichu stared at him, holding the letter and not knowing what to do. "Bro, what are you doing?"
He Sihuai: "I'm giving myself to you too."
"I want to marry into your family and bring money with me."
He's dad and mom: Our son is all grown up and leaving us behind.
