A Touch of Sweetness Between Childhood Friends

Unrequited love from the male lead | Slow-burn romance | Warm and cheerful | Reunion after a long separation

Gentle, quiet geography teacher × Steady, cunning university professor

Lin Tingyu's memories of Xu Xing date back to high school. He sat behind her, the golden boy in everyone's eyes and the best friend of the boy she secretly liked.

When they met again, he had become her landlord.

One day, Xu Xing knocked on her door. “The pipes at my place broke. Can I stay here for one night?”

One night became one night after another. He was her landlord, so Lin Tingyu couldn't kick him out.

Later, an accident happened.

Lin Tingyu and Xu Xing woke up in the same bed. Trying to ease the awkwardness, she gave an embarrassed laugh. “It was an accident. Don't take it to heart.”

Xu Xing's face darkened. “Do you still like him?”

Lin Tingyu furrowed her brow slightly. “How did you know I used to like him?”

Xu Xing didn't notice the word “used to.” He kissed her directly, no longer wanting to hear her speak. He only said, “Again.”

Lin Tingyu had no idea where his jealousy came from, until she stumbled upon Xu Xing's diary, filled with notes about her.

[She has a bad memory. Three years have passed, and she's forgotten me.]

[She hates cilantro.]

[I hate the way she looks at other people.]

It turned out that while she was in love with someone else, there was someone who was in love with her.

“Liking her is like liking green plums, with only a faint sweetness.”

A short story, around a hundred thousand words.

The female lead stopped liking her crush after graduating from high school.
