Lily of the Valley, My Heart's Aflutter

She has a crush on him | Campus to city | Slow-burn everyday life | Light ensemble cast

Gentle and sensitive x carefree and unconventional

[Have you ever had a crush on someone?]

A person emerged from the depths of Xu Jinxia's memory.

Her high school classmate, Lu Xingye.

Lu Xingye was a top student, adored by everyone and destined for greatness, while she was an inconspicuous nobody.

During their three years of high school, they rarely interacted, except when seats were changed and he sat behind her.

A classmate teased Lu Xingye. "Lao Lu, Xu Jinxia's the only one who doesn't like you. She runs away whenever she sees you."

Xu Jinxia blushed at those words.

No one knew she avoided him not because she disliked him, but quite the opposite.

Lu Xingye warned his deskmate, "Don't tease your classmate. She's shy."

And when he caught her crying, he stayed with her all night.

After the college entrance exams, Xu Jinxia didn't have the courage to confess her feelings. She sent an anonymous letter, filling it with good wishes, but couldn't bring herself to write that she liked him.

That crush became an old dream, sealed away in her memories.

Years later, they meet again after a long separation.

Lu Xingye is still as dazzling as he was in high school, and has become a sought-after memory chip researcher.

As the first snow falls, he walks up the steps.

"Miss Xu, do I have to get in line to pursue you?"

[That old dream from long ago became a heart-fluttering feeling years later.]
