The Monsoon Breaks Its Promise

Rekindled romance | Reunion from the opening | Modern urban romance | Faux siblings

Gentle and sensitive x Refined scoundrel

Lu Zhiyun returned from abroad after graduating, and Xu Yuheng was the one who opened the door.

They had not seen each other in years. Xu Yuheng had taken over the family group, purged the household, and put down internal strife. He looked refined, but his methods were ruthless.

They were siblings in name only, thanks to their parents' blended family.

No one knew they had once shared a reckless affair and dated for four years.

At dinner, her mother offered to find Lu Zhiyun a boyfriend, while Xu Yuheng's father told him to screen the candidates carefully for his little sister.

Xu Yuheng raised his eyes slightly and agreed. "I'll make sure my little sister gets a good one."

He asked, "What kind of guy does my little sister like?"

Lu Zhiyun replied, "Someone gentle and refined."

He was the exact opposite: possessive and indifferent, stopping at nothing to get what he wanted.

That night, Xu Yuheng entered Lu Zhiyun's room, grabbed her firmly by the waist, and bent down to kiss her.

Lu Zhiyun turned her head away. "Brother, we can't."

Xu Yuheng let out a mocking laugh. "Is there anywhere on you I haven't kissed?"

And it wasn't just her body. Their traces could be found in many corners of the house.

"The monsoon winds shift and change, all so I can meet you. One day, you broke your promise."
