Big Brother Is Trying to Seduce Me Again

A needy, insecure, gloomy younger sister × a sharp-tongued brother as untouchable as a flower on a high peak

Whenever Xie Li was held in her brother’s arms, she would wonder why she couldn’t marry him.

Her brother said he would prepare a fortune in dowry for her, worth a whole city, and find her the finest husband in the world, so no one could bring shame upon the Xie family.

Xie Li would always insist, “I don’t want to marry anyone. I want to stay with you forever, Brother.”

He would only scoff. “What nonsense.”

Xie Li refused to give up. One day, she would make him understand how determined she was.

Ever since she was little, Xie Li had known that her birth was less than honorable. The only reason she had food to eat was that her brother pitied her. If she had any conscience, she wouldn’t ask for more.

But love is the hardest thing in the world to control.

She fell in love beyond all hope of rescue, and would gladly descend to the eighteenth level of hell for it.

When Xie Lang was six, after years of struggle, his mediocre and useless father finally brought home the woman he had long yearned for. Unfortunately, she was not content to stay in her place, and gave birth to a bastard.

It became the biggest joke of all.

His father wanted to beat the bastard to death, but his princess mother insisted on keeping her to humiliate Lord Xie. He watched coldly as people decided whether the little beast would live or die, as casually as if she were a cat or a dog.

Later, the little beast was driven out of the estate.

As he passed by, he saw her pinned to the ground by a group of little beggars, beaten until her face was covered in blood.

He ordered his servants to chase them off.

She clutched a small, filthy piece of bread and timidly called to him, “Brother.”

Perhaps life was simply too boring. Xie Lang took her back in.

Born to nobility, Xie Lang made a name for himself at a young age. Everyone praised his elegance and dazzling talent. He was the man every young woman in Jiankang wished to marry.

Only he knew how despicable he was, and how far he had already crossed the line a brother should never cross.
