The Pongolet Cat's Daily Life Raising Kittens

Many years later, under a forum thread titled "How exceptional is the child you raised?", Annie proudly wrote:

I'm confident I can take first place in this thread. After all, no one else can raise a shy, timid child into a cold-hearted Mafia boss.

It was a stormy night, with lightning and thunder. He had a high fever, so I carried him on my back...

"Wait!"

Sawada Tsunayoshi stopped me from typing any further and pointed at the computer screen in despair. "Not a single word of this is true, is it?"

I knew it. He became successful and now wants to abandon his old mother.

I understand.

I'm a burden. Someone as brilliant as him shouldn't have an ordinary mother like me.

Annie figured it out and considerately said it was all right.

Sawada Tsunayoshi seemed even more distraught. "Stop making up a whole drama for yourself! You're a cat!"

Oh, right. I haven't introduced myself yet.

My name is Annie, and I'm a cat.

Who says a cat can't raise a human? I'm doing a great job, aren't I?

P.S. The kids I've raised include, but aren't limited to, Dazai Osamu, Gin, and Geto Suguru.
