The Ambitious Schemer Becomes a Cannon-Fodder Villain in a Romance Novel

An ambitious schemer: Romance? Who needs romance! Our goal is to conquer the entire universe!

The plot demands that he die as cannon fodder, but he insists on becoming the biggest villain of them all.

[Even if fate kills me a thousand times, I will rise again for the thousand-and-first, standing atop its corpse to proclaim the glory of my reign as king and god.]

#Glory bows before me#

But he doesn't know that someone else is looking up at him alongside fate: the nemesis he has resolved to defeat.

[In a crumbling world, he trembled and looked up to see a sun: the sun that devoured the night, his sun.

And so the blade at his heart rusted and shattered with a crash, dulled until it could no longer kill an unyielding soul.]

#You are the love I cannot speak of, my night refuge and my enemy by day#
