After the Black-Hearted Lotus Awakens

[Weibo: @Song Ting saya] Zhuoying and her younger half-sister, both princesses of the human race, were reborn on the day they were sent to the Immortal Realm as hostages. The good news was that her love-struck younger sister, infatuated with her senior fellow disciple, threw a fit and insisted on switching places with her, going to the desolate sea, the lowest-status territory of the immortal race. The bad news was that Zhuoying was about to be sent to the Shangqing Celestial Palace, the foremost power in the Immortal Realm. Yet, according to her sister’s own account of her previous life, Shangqing was utterly inhuman and governed by strict laws. As a hostage, she had lived worse than a dog for ten years. Zhuoying: Could life really be worse than having devoted years to the scummy senior fellow disciple, only to be cast aside when her achievements became a threat to him? The two reached an understanding and switched lives, each convinced she had a bright future ahead. However, after arriving at the Celestial Palace, Zhuoying gradually realized that things were not quite as she had imagined. What did “utterly inhuman and governed by strict laws” actually mean? It meant curing her illness, which made her cough blood whenever she was exposed to a breeze; letting her attend the Immortal Realm’s top academy; providing for all her daily needs; and having the finest immortal masters in the realm teach her everything they knew. The only price was that she was forbidden from falling in love before she reached the upper third rank of immortality. Zhuoying: Worse than a dog? Thanks, this is so good it could kill me. Her younger sister, who had gotten her wish and married into the desolate sea, waited and waited. She never saw the desolate sea grow stronger as she remembered. Instead, she discovered that her husband served his country by sleeping with other people and had brought home a whole houseful of pretty women. She could never have imagined that one day her naturally sickly older sister would be completely transformed, return to the desolate sea, and personally... tear out her husband’s dragon sinews. [Reader’s guide] 1. This is not a story about an all-powerful heroine, nor is it pure wish fulfillment. The heroine is frail and will recover, but her constitution will remain weaker than most people’s. That won’t stop her from fighting. 2. A heroine who coughs blood at the slightest breeze in the beginning and becomes incredibly strong later x a tsundere, love-struck young War God who is not much of a fighter -Archived from a screenshot dated 2023.7.23 Theme: Do good deeds and don’t worry about the future.
