He Said His Beloved Should Make a Name for Themself Across the World

Qiu Yuan runs a Chinese restaurant. One morning, he spotted a Chinese man pretending to get hurt right outside his door, so he kindly invited him in for a meal.

And now he couldn't get rid of him.

The man said that if he could sell one painting, he'd be able to pay back the money he owed.

Qiu Yuan was puzzled. "Then why haven't you sold a single one?"

The painter fell silent for a long time, then said, "Anyone who likes my paintings wants to buy my signature along with them."

The painter's tears fell into the spicy beef brisket, braised tofu with shredded pork, curry chicken, and red-braised pork.

Qiu Yuan gave in. "We're fellow countrymen. Come work for me. You don't have to pay me back."

-

Qiu Yuan had never imagined being with a man.

Though he had rarely imagined himself with a woman, either.

His life was pretty complete, he had lots of friends, and things were going well.

But when Ming Buyang left, he still missed him terribly.

He called him.

Silence on both ends.

Just before the line went dead, Qiu Yuan said, "Get back here and pay me back."

A smug chuckle came from the other end.
