The world's number-one aloof-but-cute men's singles skater x a younger, naturalized wolfdog skater
Sovey Yu is one of the few athletes on the international skating scene with purely Chinese ancestry who has nonetheless stunned the world with his extraordinary artistic expression. He grew up in a young figure-skating family. At least, his family has two Winter Olympic gold medals in figure skating.
Well, maybe they'll have a third soon.
As a child, he learned from his father that his name came from the Russian word “сокровище,” meaning “treasure.” Raised as a pampered “treasure,” Sovey is spoiled, proud, willful, and beautiful.
At 21, after finishing a competition, Sovey returned to the national team's training rink with his father, who was also his coach. There, he happened to meet the newly signed naturalized athlete, Qiao Jieyi.
Sovey wasn't too pleased that the national team had signed a naturalized athlete while he was still in his prime. After hearing Jieyi's background, including the fact that his four grandparents came from four different countries, he gave a scornful laugh and muttered:
“This guy's got a lot of mixed blood.”
On the ice, Qiao Jieyi wore a black, skin-tight training outfit. He had just landed a quadruple jump and was still catching his breath as he glided over to the barrier. With a mischievous grin, he raised an eyebrow.
“Are you calling me a bastard?”
Sunlight reflected off the ice into his amber eyes, making them look gold for a moment. He seemed ready to lure anyone straight into a trap.
And so, their feud began.
A year later, in the Winter Olympics competition prep room, Sovey was about to take the ice when Jieyi blocked the changing-room door.
Jieyi interlocked the index fingers of both hands, pulled them taut, then raised them in front of Sovey. Wearing his usual mischievous grin, he spoke in his distinctively imperfect Chinese.
“Your Majesty, if I win this time, will you be mine for a month?”
1. None of the characters' experiences in this story are based on real people.
2. All the rules and technical descriptions are supported by research. This is absolutely for the technical-minded.
3. It's fine if you're not familiar with the rules. Every chapter has detailed explanations in the author's notes. And if anything is still unclear, feel free to ask. If I see your question, I'll reply.
4. If you like stories about parents in love, you're welcome to check out the completed novel next door, “Tango in the Twisted Step.”
5. Most importantly, no matter what emotions are involved, please don't casually doubt an athlete's love for their sport.
Theme: An undying love for the ice
Finished spreading flowers! Hahaha, I can only imagine the shocked comments after Joe's retirement announcement was made public.
😂 Finally discovered it? It's really hard to say about Big Goose…
😂 So how did Zochka get his leave?
After the official announcement, I knocked on the CP forum body
I want to see the fan comments on the CP forum after the official announcement.
Do you want to try adding a side story in which the little Majesty's scumbag parents saw their son getting ahead and wanted to come back to recognize their relatives, but Zuo Chensan and his son were beaten and driven away?
Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh 😭 😭 😭
Finished Spreading Flowers. I "abandoned the article" for a while because of the preparation for the college entrance examination. When I came back to read it, I was really filled with emotions. When I first watched Yu Chen and Zuocheka, I was half catching up (I couldn't read it faster than the author). Now after watching Sovi and Jay, my progress is that I can make specific jumps when I see terms such as 4A 4T (others are still not close). I started to feel good about figure skating because of the Beijing Winter Olympics, and now I am finally half a figure skating fan. I am honored to walk through a period of their lives with them through the author's description of their stories. When I first clicked on this article, I actually felt uncomfortable because of the departure of Coach Morozov, who was familiar with the story of Yu Chen and Zochka, and the age of the people of the father's generation in this article. But if you read it carefully, you will be attracted by the dazzling (little) Majesty Yu Suowei, and you will be curious about what kind of progress Qiao Jay will make. And I really like the author's description of their daily life and the use of emoticons in the story! They really fit in perfectly with them! Looking forward to the new story in the future 🤩
[Spreading Flowers] Finished Spreading Flowers, see you in the next book
This time it's really over! See you in the next one
