[Harry Potter] The Azure Pursuit

Pherkad, from the Fawleys, one of the twenty-eight Pure-blood families, didn't end up like most children from Pure-blood families. Instead, as though it suited him best, he was sorted into the house represented by the eagle. Every house had its own labels, some complimentary, some not. The words associated with Ravenclaw were "wisdom" and "nerd." Pherkad had lost count of how many times he'd heard this younger student from another house, with platinum-blond hair and two fewer years at school, taunt him. Draco grabbed Pherkad's silvery-white hair and leaned in fiercely. "Well, looks like the Fawleys have fallen from grace. You're a member of a Pure-blood family, but you act like you don't belong in the outside world at all. And on top of that, you're a textbook nerd!" Pherkad closed Advanced Potion-Making, gently pulled his hair out of Draco's hand, and stood. "There's nothing wrong with that. It lets me get through school in peace." Five years later, the Ravenclaw prefect, about to graduate, was cornered by the Slytherin prefect, two years younger than him, in a deserted corner of the castle. The platinum-haired prefect grabbed that silver hair just as he had years before, bent down, and whispered in the other's ear. "Looks like going to Ravenclaw wasn't completely useless after all." He really loved seeing that person's normally icy expression change in every possible way when he was around. 1. Follows the original books, no games. 2. Not contracted. I write whenever I feel like it, so please be gentle with your comments. 3. You can figure out the pairing from the blurb above. 4. I don't know how long it'll be. Theme: People can never be fully described with just one label.
