How Do I Deal with Falling for My Colleague, the One Destined to Be My Trial?

A certain immortal's anonymous forum:

Original poster: Help, help! What should I do if I fall in love with my colleague's tribulation of love?

I want to steal them, but the Fated Star says I'd be completely immoral. So what about my colleague's tribulation of love?

How do I steal the person while making sure my colleague fails their tribulation of love?

Ideally, they could stay together for a few hundred years.

First reply: This post has me reeling in shock, then more shock, then even more shock.

Second reply: I thought you were asking how to help your colleague speedrun their tribulation of love. You've got such a love-addled brain that you'd even hurt your colleague.

Third reply: I'm the original poster. The reply above is wrong. If they pass the tribulation of love, what if they cling to my person?

Fourth reply: Why are you already calling them your person? Also, do they even like you?

Fifth reply: Isn't that obvious? They definitely don't like you. If they did, how would this be your colleague's tribulation of love instead of theirs?

I'll revise this. The POV isn't decided yet; I'll see what feels right while writing.

The shou's reincarnations include some lifetimes when he and the gong were together, and some when they married. I thought it over and decided to put the warning in the tags.

The shou's original self has only ever been with the gong, but some of his reincarnations were with other people while unaware of their past. If this is a dealbreaker for you, please don't bookmark the story.
