Wild Humans Are So Hard to Raise

Engineer Xu Tingzhi made a mistake while developing a time machine and accidentally fell into another world, one ruled by beastfolk. Humans had become a scarce resource, kept by high-ranking beastfolk and aristocrats as pets and possessions. To avoid being adopted, Xu Tingzhi did everything he could to escape the Human Protection Center, only to achieve the remarkable feat of being forcibly "carried" home by a strange beastfolk on the very first day of his escape. Xu Tingzhi: ... What, is "human language" from a wild human also first come, first served? On his way out, Shi Li ran into a wild human. He was adorable and gorgeous, and seemed to really like Shi Li. After thinking for two seconds, Shi Li scooped him up without hesitation and ran home, making sure to call his beastfolk friends on video along the way to show off. Shi Li: You lot! Look, I found a wild human. He likes me and wants to come home with me! Watching the video, his friends saw the human desperately clutching a nearby tree trunk with one hand and pushing Shi Li's face away with the other, looking so vicious he seemed ready to take a bite out of him. After a long silence, they kindly reminded Shi Li: ...He doesn't look like he wants to come home with you. Shi Li, completely missing the point: Wonderful! I'm not a beast without a human anymore! QAQ tip: Nothing for now, but honestly, when I got to "You lot," I laughed so hard I nearly died. The blurb was screenshotted on 2025/4/16 Theme: Possession
