She had lofty ambitions: inherit the family business and start working at the age of three.
Her profession was master thief.
Although everyone currently called her a pickpocket, she knew great things had to be done one step at a time, starting from the bottom. One day, while making sure she could feed herself, she'd go from pickpocket to thief, from thief to master thief, from master thief to phantom thief, and from phantom thief to grand phantom thief.
She studied hard and worked diligently for the sake of her great ambition.
Finally, when she was seven, she found the first big fat sheep of her phantom-thief career...
"A fat sheep is someone who's simple, easy to fool, timid, and rich enough to fill a whole house. Even after they've been robbed down to their underwear, they don't dare make a peep, and still put their most treasured heirlooms on the bedside table."
That was what her grandmother had taught her before she died. "They're the best targets for practice."
The first time, she stole a gold-trimmed alarm clock and a watch from the rich young master's bedside. Nothing happened;
The fourth time, she stole a brand-new gold-trimmed alarm clock and watch, as well as two boxes of expensive chocolate. Nothing happened;
The tenth time, the rich young master, who always swallowed his anger and never dared call the police, was sleeping soundly in bed. On his bedside table sat an even newer alarm clock, watch, gem necklace, and snacks. She glanced at his bright, soft blond hair and knew he'd been fated to be a fat sheep she could fleece to her heart's content.
She knew when to stop and believed in sustainable development. Once she'd fleeced him enough, she had to let the sheep grow its wool back in peace.
But why, after she'd stopped for a while, had the Mafia started hunting her?
No matter.
She had already climbed all the way from pickpocket to grand phantom thief. Even while living quietly among the masses and hiding her true identity, she wouldn't tolerate those damn gangsters squeezing other people out of their livelihoods. Whenever they held an art exhibition, she'd send a notice and steal everything in sight, always going for the most expensive pieces, robbing the rich to help the poor and bringing glory to her family.
She'd make that rich young master kneel in terror and offer her his family's heirloom ring, begging her to spare him. She'd make the gangsters' underlings wipe away their tears with handkerchiefs, full of regret, and cry, "Boss, no!"

1. The protagonist is carefree, ignores everything around her, and focuses only on honing her pickpocketing skills. From childhood to adulthood, she's nine-tenths clueless about romance.
2. A funny romantic story in a small Italian town. The fat sheep is Dino Cavallone.
Theme: Keep your feet on the ground and work hard to turn your fortunes around
