The Unsolvable Mystery of a Genius [Reborn!]

I'm just an ordinary superpowered person living an ordinary life.

One day, I seem to get transported to another world by some scientist's high-tech device. When I open my eyes, I find myself in an unfamiliar research facility.

I expect him to take responsibility and send me home. He absolutely refuses. The young Italian man stands beside my bed with both hands in the pockets of his lab coat, looking at me like I'm a stubborn patient. So I beat him up and find my own way home.

The next day, I wake up in the research facility again. I beat him up and leave.

The third day, same thing. Beat him up, leave.

The fourth day...

A month later, I ask him in all sincerity, "Are you a masochist?"

The scientist gives a cold laugh.

I ask again, "Do you like me that much?"

The scientist tells me not to get ahead of myself. He only brought me in to study me because my existence is so incredibly unscientific.

Well, that's no fun.

I wave a hand, use my powers to interfere with the signal, remove the tracker and listening devices from my clothes, and leave.

Then one night, when the rain is pouring down, I open my front door. The genius scientist, who's always been cunning, arrogant, and stubborn, but is actually very easy to bully, is standing on my doorstep, drenched. His face is pale and haggard, and his eyes are red and tired. He's tall, but his head hangs low. He looks like a stubborn patient with nowhere to go.

1. A short, melodramatic story about twenty-year-old Verde before he was cursed.

2. A standalone story. The protagonist is the only superpowered person in the entire parallel universe, an ordinary peak combatant.

[Here, superpowers are defined as inherent abilities that don't rely on the Seven Trigrams. They include, but aren't limited to, telekinesis, mind-reading, controlling fire or water, or using x-ray vision to peek at the answer to the last math problem on the person in front of you's test.]
