After the Breakup, the Spoiled Young Master Learns He's a Substitute

After two years together with Zhou Xiayi, Yu Xiu had had enough of his dramatic, self-centered tantrums.

So, when Zhou Xiayi used the threat of a breakup to throw another fit for the umpteenth time, Yu Xiu thought it over, nodded, and calmly said, "Sure. Then let's break up."

Zhou Xiayi froze. He had never imagined that Yu Xiu would actually agree to break up with him one day. After all, Yu Xiu had always treated him so well, doing everything he asked without a single complaint ever since they met.

But he soon managed to reassure himself. He thought Yu Xiu was only throwing a little tantrum and would come back to make up with him in a couple of days. After all, Yu Xiu liked him so much.

Two months later, Zhou Xiayi couldn't hold back any longer and went to find Yu Xiu. He had decided to apologize first this time, since he really did like Yu Xiu too.

Who could have guessed he'd find him sitting with a blind date, chatting and laughing happily?

Yu Xiu had truly loved someone once. Just when he thought they would grow old together, the other person died suddenly in an accident.

At the funeral, he saw his lover's youthful face and thought it was a miracle sent by heaven.

Only after making inquiries did he learn that it had been a daydream.

Three years later, Yu Xiu saw him again. That same bold, uninhibited face from their first meeting, now looking even more like the person in his heart.

He hadn't expected the other man to strike up a conversation first: "Hey, interested in getting to know... Wait, you're a Beta? You're not an Omega?"

"What a shame..." The other man smiled again. "But Betas have their advantages too..."

Yu Xiu thought, of course an Alpha-Beta romance couldn't be serious.

It was fine. He just needed a little comfort from fate.

After two years, he felt he had moved on, and that it was time he did.
